아로마는 라스베리가 튀어 나오고 뒤에서 은은하게 검은 과일이 뒷받침해주고 있다. 훌레이버는 살짝 시큼하면서 달달한 라스베리로 시작해 초콜릿의 달콤함이 뒤따라 나와 마무리. 위드머 거 마셔본 것 중에 만족스러운 몇 안 되는 것. 알콜을 좀 더 숨겼으면 훨씬 좋았을 것이란 생각이 든다.

Widmer Brothers Chocolate Russian Imperial Stout '13, 9.3%

나름 거창하게 reserve 시리즈로 한 것 가운데 하나인데, 꽤나 실망스럽다. 개인적으로 RIS 스타일을 좋아하는 편이라 어지간하면 다 맛있게 마시는데, 이 녀석은 초콜릿과 커피, 로스티드 몰트가 잘 조화롭게 어울리는 게 아니라 따로 노는 느낌이다.
